Three Sampling Protocols for Sleeping Beauty: Why the Problem Is Underdetermined, and by Exactly How Much
The Sleeping Beauty problem analysed as a choice of probability measure on the space of centred worlds. Four principles are shown to be jointly inconsistent; the thirder, Lewisian-halfer and double-halfer positions are exactly the three ways of rejecting one of them, each optimal under a distinct sampling protocol.
